Received the set-up kit and had it all set up on my phone & in my car w/in 5 mins max. So easy! Thanks, State Farm!

This app is awful. The Touch ID login doesnt work and the app times out quickly. Youre expected to login again after approximately 20 minutes of driving time. This is unacceptable. Im driving to Florida next week and basically wont be able to use this app at all. I cant be distracted with my phone every 20 minutes to type in a password! So dangerous. Such a disappointing app, please improve.

The app was using over 1 gig of storage on my phone and the only fix I could find is uninstalling it and then installing it back, even then its only a temporary fix. This is an issue that needs addressed, please add an option to delete trips that have already been recorded or an auto delete function that automatically deletes trips older than a month or so.

This app is a nice concept but it needs a lot of work before it is really practical to use. It requires your GPS and background app refresh to be on at all times whether you were driving or not. I found that the battery on my iPhone 6 Plus drained at a rate of about five times of normal. In my opinion, this makes this app unusable

Works well tracking trips. Hopefully soon the app will show the dashboard features that are available online.

Gps is always on. No other option and a total battery drainer. I disable it in privacy settings on my iPhone when Im not using it. But its a major pain to enable and disable each time Im going to get in the car.

Thought I would give it a shot. Took a while to get the beacon but easy to set up. Figured I would give it a try to save some $$. I dont see any negatives.

This app requires "location" to be "always on". Youll probably spend any/all insurance savings on cellular data just to run this app. State Farm, is there not a way to just track location when the Bluetooth dongle is in range? This is a waste of cellular data. I think I might try to find a cheaper car insurance while Im at it. LOL.

State Farm made it sound like this would collect less data than its last device. Read through the privacy policy before installing it and now after updating the app, it turns out theyve been tracking turns and other driving statistics all along. (Not sure how it can be accurate when the Bluetooth device is sliding around your console.) Im not sure why you cant just submit your odometer. State Farm clearly doesnt value your privacy, but its hard when you dont want to be charged a ridiculous insurance rate when youre barely driving at all. Also, having to always have your location on is weird too. When everything is getting hacked, you seriously have to weigh if a small discount is worth it.

My agent just convinced me I should sign up for this to save money. Immediately sends me a link to sign up and now Im caught in a never ending loop - try to register and it wont continue....then try to log in and it doesnt recognize you because it didnt let you continue. 25 minute hold time to get support......not worth it

If Im no where near my vehicle, theres no reason for this app to be using GPS continuously for no reason. Draining battery life for no reason. New update is nice but gps is still constantly on. Until till thats fixed I will continue to give this a 1 star rating.

The app doesnt turn on the GPS as needed (such as, when in range of the beacon) -- it runs the GPS receiver 24x7. This is a battery hog.

This is a downgrade from the in drive as it zaps battery life. Has to be constantly on. Bad bad idea. Dont want to participate as a result of this
