This app needs "Always" access to the location (GPS) information. Even when you are not in a car. As a result, the app drains the battery of the iPhone. I am giving this one star until they fix this design flaw. IMO, the app should access the GPS only when it detects the Bluetooth dongle that was paired to the phone. Or better still, have the dongle record the location information.

Ive tried numerous times and I cant even type in my user name and password!

This app needs access to location "always" which means even when I have closed out of the app it still uses my location and drains my battery. Please fix this to where you can access while using the app only.

This no cost option provides a great way to personalize my premium without sacrificing coverage. We enrolled last year and have already experienced significant discounts in our auto premium. The app was easy to set up and once set up I dont have to think about it again. Im finding minimal impact to my battery life compared to before using the app.

No OBDII support?? Instead you have to drain your battery. :(

App does work, but is missing some key features. The biggest one is the ability to save the password. Its quite annoying to have to type in your password each time you open the app. In addition the trip data is very basic. Itd be great too see things such as how many hard stops and time of day the trip.

Just did this today and already can tell my battery life is depleted drastically. Wondering if it is using a bunch of data too. Needs to change!!!

The app is polished from a user experience standpoint, but is limited in terms of features. Touch ID is a very necessary feature, particularly for those who check trip logs regularly. Looking forward to seeing future enhancements

I recently converted from State Farms In Drive discount program to this mobile app and it was a breeze. I have seen no battery drain on my iPhone; plus the app has a Wifi setting so I am using minimal data too. Agree a save feature for the password would be helpful. Overall, highly recommend this easy to use app for a discount on auto insurance.

Not happy with this app. It always closes and I have to redo everything all the time.

Im curious to see how much this drains my battery on my brand new iPhone. I selected the option to only use wi-fi to send data, but you are required to leave location services running all the time. You are also required to leave Bluetooth on. Technically, you could turn these on each time you get into your car and off when you get out, but who is going to remember to do that?! It should be easy to at least indicate that location services should only be used when the app is communicating with the Bluetooth receiver. Im not sure it will be worth the discount.

App needs to be more battery energy efficient. iPhone touch login feature or remember password feature desperately needed.
