State farm the drive safe and save keeps running down people's batteries on their phone I have an idea Allstate uses a plug that plugs into your car's computer I had that from Allstate before I switched over to State farm and it was really good and you didn't have to use your phone and it didn't run down your phone battery the plug plugs into the ECM computer plug underneath the dash

Tracks your every move so the government doesn't have to. Drains battery and doesn't work with my Samsung phone despite messing with he battery and app settings etc for an hour. Guess I wont be using it any longer.

The only reason I run this is for the discount. Otherwise it is very poorly written. It is a resource hog, using lots of memory and 40 to 60 percent of my battery each day if I leave background app refresh on. If I turn background app refresh on only when I am driving, it will turn it on for ALL my apps somehow, I am guessing in an attempt to insure it is running all the time. That's evil. Right now it says it is only saving me about $3.50 per 6 months...not worth the hassle.

Four cars, three iphone users. This app drains the battery in iphones, but it does not bother my Galaxy phone a bit. The older the iphone, the worse the drain is. My iphone users have to stop using it. (My wife went from 100% to 37% in less than two hours this morning and texted me at work griping.) This needs to be fixed. If the app could turn location services off and on as needed, it would help.

Drains battery like hell. The battery charge goes from 100 to 20 in a couple of hours. Had to uninstall it to save phone from dying. Please fix this.

Ever since Ive installed this app, this has been draining my battery due it constantly wanting my location. Please fix this.

Location services is always on even when am NOT driving the car and it drains my IPhone 6 battery. Best is to on the location services when I am near the Bluetooth beacon. Login to this app is crazy, Is this a banking app? either increase the logout time or provide Touch ID login. Best is to combine pocket agent and drive safe into one app.

The day after I installed it I got a system warning telling me that this app was constantly using GPS in the background and draining my battery. And ever since I installed this app my battery life is horrible. Ive noticed that the GPS icon is constantly on in the upper right hand corner of my screen even when I am miles from my car. It could use the Bluetooth connection to the beacon to turn on and off the GPS so that it doesnt waste my battery.

This app saves you money on insurance. But why does the app need to track my location even when I am not driving? Cant it just do it when its connected via Bluetooth?

Please fix so GPS isnt constantly running. Should be able to activate gps when Bluetooth signal is detected.

It is always nice to save money on car insurance, but this App is 25% of my daily usage. There has to be a better solution than using GPS and background app refresh 100% of the time. Tempted to give up the discount just so I can delete this App.

Can not access certain characters on password sign-in screen to login.

Glad there is an option in the app to "Limit Mobile Data when Sending trip info", as well as the ability to turn off "Daily Trip Notifications". Both options help reduce data usage!

This app is using 1.1GB of storage on my phone and 2.4GB on my husbands--way more than any other app in our phones! There must be some problem with not sending in data frequently enough or not dumping old data after reporting. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Its inexcusable for State Farm to require use of this poorly designed app in exchange for a discount that is supposed to reflect the customers good driving.

The constant GPS is a HUGE problem both for data & battery. These should be activated only when the beacon is close - like no more than 10 feet close. I went from charging my phone only at bedtime to at least 5 times a day. Not cool.

App appears to run GPS 24/7 even when you are no where near vehicle. No ability to turn off or no geo-fence that auto disable GPS when out of proximity. Battery charge with Mophie battery pack drains in 8hrs - prior to installation of this app charge lasted 2-3days. This app has "terrible" design flaw with constant GPS ON Feature - hope after 100 day test run I can kick it to the curb.

I saved 5% on my insurance so far and can save up to 50%! Easy to install

Besides draining my battery, it doesnt upload my data on most trips. Worst app ever written.

This app drains the battery very quickly, because theres no way to disable the GPS tracking or to limit it to only use while the app is used. Please fix this issue.
